After a 25-year career as a graphic designer working in New York City and Washington DC, I decided to take my first painting class in an effort to reconnect with the passion and creativity I had in my youth. That first class was an epiphany for me and I have not looked back since. I dabbled with drawing in high school, but it wasn't until I felt that luscious paint under my brush all those years later that I found the medium that was perfect for me. I have fallen in love all over again with the old masters. Good composition, flawless draftsmanship and a total mastery of my medium is what I aspire to.
